The WTG team is comprised of talented people from all over the world who are united by a shared passion for technology and problem solving. We boast experts in development, project management, skilled database analysts, systems integrators, graphic designers, information architects, strategic consultants and business analysts. They hail from varied corporate backgrounds and places as diverse as Nigeria, Australia, Britain, South Africa and Germany.
The WTG offices are open plan so we can freely exchange ideas and project knowledge. Our staff are bright, friendly and down to earth. When they are not solving your business problems in the office, they can often be found brain storming offsite, or team building over a game of football on a Thursday night. At WTG we tell it like it is and we aim to give our clients great solutions, not people who think they’re great.
The WTG leadership team have extensive experience in consulting and technology. They are committed to driving the development of our services and propositions to meet the current and future needs of our clients.

Volker has been Managing Director of WTG since February 2007, when he led a successful management buyout to take the company independent from Cable & Wireless. His vision is to take what is already an ambitious and highly motivated organisation to the next level, developing its services to help clients realise their strategic objectives. Volker believes that WTG is well placed for expansion, continuing to enjoy exclusive partner status with Cable & Wireless, while also having the new found freedom to expand its client base.
Volker started his career in technology as a systems analyst for ThyssenKrupp Steel in Germany, before being promoted to the internal consulting team. From there he went on to work in supply chain management for Ford Motor Company, where he held a variety of senior positions. In 1995 Volker moved to the UK to study for an MBA at Henley Management College. Oncompletion of his MBA Volker accepted a role with KPMG consulting where he rose rapidly to Director of the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team.

As Chairman of WTG, Bill is responsible for corporate governance and running the board. He takes a particular interest in the strategic direction of the company, including planning for organic growth and exploring merger and acquisition opportunities. Over the course of his career Bill has been involved in advising and leading a wide range of successful organisations. Working closely with key venture capital firms and financial lenders, Bill is well practised in bringing together finance to facilitate corporate growth.

Jamie brings fifteen years of experience in the technology sector to his role at WTG. He is responsible for business development, cultivating new client relationships and ensuring our sales and delivery processes are focused on the needs of our clients.
Jamie’s experience includes the development of major strategic relationships in the web application space with clients as diverse as Ocado, BskyB, and Hilton International. He has recently been pivotal to the development of WTG’s relationships with high profile central government clients including the Department of Trade and Industry and the Home Office.

Simon heads up the technical division at WTG, providing direction on new technologies and ensuring that project and service delivery meet client expectations.
Simon has been working in the internet applications industry since 1996, giving him extensive knowledge of the design, management and support of internet infrastructure. Simon has worked for companies truly at the forefront of internet technology, including Telewest, Barclaycard and Inktomi. He joined WTG when it was Hyperlink Interactive and was instrumental in delivering bleeding edge website and ecommerce platforms during the naissance of internet technology.

Gaining his ACA qualifications with KPMG, Tom has fifteen years' experience in Finance, principally in Finance Director and Financial Controller roles. He has worked with a number of companies in the IT and telecoms sector including O2 plc, Nomad Software Limited and Cable & Wireless plc.
With considerable commercial and legal experience, Tom is additionally responsible for contracts, financial governance and business planning within WTG.
