Joined WTG in 2009. Chris’s experience includes roles at Detica (Non-Executive Director and Non-Executive Chairman), IBM (member of the IBM UK board), Digital Equipment Company (Chairman and Chief Executive of Digital UK and Eire) and Synetrix (Non-Executive Director).
Jamie Melling, Joint Managing Director
Jamie was a key member of the original MBO team from C&W in February 2007, having led a highly successful sales operation in C&W Services division, which he joined in Jan 2000. He was appointed Joint Managing Director in October 2008 and brings a wealth of sales and management experience, particularly in the Public Sector. Jamie spent his early career in a range of senior management roles within Sonix, 3Com and Netstore.
Tom Willock, Joint Managing Director
Tom joined WTG in February 2007 as Finance and Commercial Director. He was appointed Joint Managing Director in October 2008 and has overall Board responsibility for the successful delivery of customer projects. Prior to joining WTG, Tom had spent 15 years in the telecoms and technology sector in senior financial and commercial roles in both public and private companies. These have included senior roles at Cable & Wireless plc, Nomad Software Limited and O2 plc. Prior to his experience in industry, Tom qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG.
Volker Schulze, Non-Executive Director
Volker initiated and completed the MBO of WTG in February 2007 and has been on the Board since its inception.Volker is also the founder and Managing Partner at Moregate, a consultancy and investment company he formed in 2003. Prior to founding Moregate, Volker was a Director of M&A at KPMG Consulting. Volker holds an MBA from Henley Business School
Simon Haighton-Williams, Non-Executive Director
Joined WTG in 2007. Simon’s experience includes developing website and ecommerce platforms built during the naissance of internet technology and leading major projects at Telewest, Barclaycard and Inktomi.
